SchwarzRund

SchwarzRund came to Bremen as a Black German Dominican at the age of three and has lived in Berlin for almost ten years. She has been publishing on her blog schwarzrund.de and in various magazines since 2013. She deals with multidimensional realities of life inside and outside of communities in performance texts, lectures and event series.  She has a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Studies and Gender Studies, in the latter of which she is currently completing a Master's degree. Her research focuses on fields of intervention in black queer music videos. Her Afropolitan Berlin novel BISKAYA was published by zaglossus Verlag in 2016.
