Hannah Beeck

Assistant Design Festival Centre Theatertreffen

Hannah Beeck has been an assistant for the design of the Theatertreffen festival centre and the Theatertreffen-Award since 2022, as well as set designer for the Stückemarkt. She was born in 1993 and initially studied cultural studies at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. During this time, she worked in the fields of event production and editing at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt, the Berlin International Film Festival, rbb Fernsehen and Verlag der Tagesspiegel, as well as a production assistant for various exhibitions, including those of the Ernst Schering Foundation as part of the Berlin Art Week 2018. Internships and assistantships took her to Theater Bremen, Schauspiel Köln and Theater an der Parkaue, among others. Since 2020, she has been studying for a Master’s degree in Bühnenbild_Szenischer Raum at TU Berlin and was a scholarship holder of the Deutschlandstipendium in 2021. In the same year, she designed the festival design for the 2-month festival KAHO Interim 2021 at the former Theater Karlshorst with her own event scenographies for the artists Marlies Pahlenberg and Sonya Schöneberger.
