Juli Gilde, born in 2002 and raised on the outskirts of Berlin, is a young artist who began early on to put her feelings and thoughts into songs. Her German-language songs unerringly hit something indeterminable in the listener’s mind: Juli tells of knocked knees, packed suitcases, raven children, the overgrown suburban nature. And all this with a sharp eye that captures situations in such a way that faces and spaces become visible, silhouettes of the moment. Since 2018, Juli has been performing at songslams, living room concerts and various songwriting competitions. In 2019 she was a prize winner at the Treffen junge Musik-Szene.
Since September 2021, Juli Gilde has been studying pop music design at the Popakademie Mannheim. Her first EP “French Bookwood” will be released in autumn.
