Léonard Bertholet

Léonard Bertholet studied at the Acting Academy in Lausanne. As a dancer, he performed in several pieces by choreographer Cisco Aznar in Lausanne. As an actor, he regularly works with Mathieu Bertholet’s company MuFuThe, in pieces like “Case Study Houses”, “L’avenir, seulement” and “Derborence”. From January to June 2013, he occupied the artists’ residence of the Canton of Valais in Berlin, where he explored the availability of the performer in his project “Carnet de Bal”. He collaborated with choreographer Kiriakos Hadjiioannou on “Oder wem gehört die Welt” and with director Marcel Schwald on “Together” at Kaserne Basel. In 2016, he performed in “IDEAL PARADISE” and “the last IDEAL PARADISE” with Claudia Bosse’s theatercombinat. In 2017, he premiered his first solo piece “Préface”. His most recent performances in Berlin were in “EXTASE” by GKW, directed by Zino Wey, and in “Die Wiederentdeckung der Granteloper” by FUX (Falk Rössler and Nele Stuhler) at HAU Hebbel am Ufer.
