Patrick Primavesi

Patrick Primavesi is professor of Theatre Studies at the University of Leipzig and director of the Dance Archive Leipzig. He also worked as a dramaturge and established a master-program in dramaturgy at the University of Frankfurt/Main (together with H.-Th. Lehmann). He published widely on modern and contemporary theatre, dance and performance art. Present research projects focus on politics of representation, body politics, and the public sphere as context and challenge for the development of contemporary performing practices.
