Fatima is a playwright from Lahore, Pakistan currently pursuing her MFA at Boston University. Constantly questioning the nationalism and patriarchal notions she was raised on, she unpacks everyday Pakistani socio-political issues through her work. Fatima’s ultimate aim is to create theatre that addresses overlooked issues in Pakistani society, encourages audiences to think critically, and (hopefully!) leads to a more progressive and self-reflexive society.
