Nofar Sela (Nufar Sela) is an interdisciplinary artist working in the fields of performance, visual art and text. She studied Interdisciplinary Art in the School of Visual Theater, Jerusalem. Since 2014 Sela has been a member of Pandora Collective, an independent artists' initiative based in Jerusalem, where she develops her own work, accompanies the development of her colleagues' work and initiates and curates performance events. In 2012 she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts with distinction from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem. In 2015 Sela created “Red Alert”, an original stage piece written and performed by her, which combines object theatre and spoken word. In 2017 Sela created “SurFace”, a participatory performance based on a face-to-face encounter with a personification of the land of Israel. “SurFace” took part in the International Exposure Festival of Israeli Theater and was supported by a grant from the Rabinovich Foundation for the Arts.
