
Arne Busse, born in 1966, studied Theatre, Film and Television Studies, German Philology, North America Studies and Art and Culture Studies in Munich and Berlin. He has worked as a dramaturg and managing director in the independent theatre scene and as a lecturer and editor. He has been working at the Federal Agency for Civic Education (Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung/bpb) since 2001, initially with a range of diverse tasks. Since 2014, he has been the head of bpb’s Department of Target-Group Specific Services. His areas of expertise include (digital) learning opportunities at the interface of civic education and media education, issues of net-politics as well as Twitter-channels of animals.
