Thierry Mousset, born in Luxembourg in 1992, studied in Berkeley, Cambridge and Menton. In 2016, he realised his first production, “Totentänze”, based on Ingmar Bergman’s “Das siebente Siegel”. In the same year, he created the performance Luxembourg-Afghanistan. Subsequently Mousset took up posts in Brussels (La Monnaie), Ghent (LOD muziektheater), Luxembourg (Grand Théâtre) and London (Barbican Centre). In 2018, he worked as a dramaturge on Thorsten Lensing’s production of David Foster Wallace’s „Unendlicher Spaß“ (“Infinite Jest”, invited to Theatertreffen 2019). Since 2020, he has been working as a freelance theatre and film director in Luxembourg, Berlin and Berkeley.
