Mateja Meded completed her training as an actor at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF in 2016. While still a student, she already worked as an actor at Berlin’s Maxim Gorki Theater with directors like Yael Ronen, Sebastian Baumgarten and Sebastian Nübling. The play “Common Ground”, devised by the cast and director Yael Ronen, was invited to the 2015 Theatertreffen. In the same year, Mateja Meded began working on her first film, “Berlin haha Harlekin”, which will be released in 2019. As an author, she writes for DIE ZEIT, DIE WELT and Fräulein Magazin about the connections between politics, art and society. She is currently developing the theatre play “Votzenschleimpower Deluxe – eine selbstgerechte Harlequeen-Biatch kennt keine Grenzen” (Working Title).
