Anna Beata Bohdziewicz

Photographer, publicist, curator. Studied social anthropology but started in films and worked as a second unit director. In 1981 documented the birth of Solidarity in Poland and under the martial law took part in the underground activities. Since 1982 carries on „Photodiary or the Song on the End of the World”, an unique personal record, photos with handwritten captions that form a highly subjective narrative, dense and intriguing. Parts of it have been exhibited in Poland and abroad.
