Alexandra Kedves

Alexandra Kedves, born 1968 in Konstanz, studied German and English philology as well as philosophy in Konstanz, Oxford and Freiburg/Breisgau. From 2000 to 2007, she was editor for “Zürcher Kultur” (Culture in Zurich) for the daily newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung (theatre, literature, comics); since 2007, she has been arts editor for Tages-Anzeiger in Zurich. Apart from this, she has worked as a freelancer for media including Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), ZEIT, TEXT+KRITIK, Radio DRS and Deutschlandfunk. She has been a longstanding jury member for Solothurner Literaturtage, the literary commission of the City of Zurich, the Swiss Book Award, the Studer/Ganz-Award and others.
