Participant International Forum 2024
Dana Crosa was born in 1992 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She studied performing arts at the Metropolitan School of Dramatic Art (EMAD) and graduated in Corporeity and Techno-Narratives at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). She works as a creator, actor, playwright, screenwriter and director in the independent circuit of Buenos Aires, specialising in site-specific works in recent years. Her work is influenced by questions related to identity, affections, the memory of cities and their inhabitants, the tension between body and context, and the fiction of public/private space. Over the years, she studied and worked in institutions and community-based places where accessibility is a fundamental concept for creation. She promotes productions that bring the audience closer through recycling, reuse, and the fusion of poetic universes, with humour as a mechanism for synthesizing all of this. She has explored different languages such as theatre, performance, cinema, poetry, photography and music, resulting in productions that have been recognised and awarded nationally and internationally (Argentina, USA, France, Germany, Spain).
