Nina Bade

Nina Bade studied Theatre Studies and Art History at the University of Leipzig and the masters programme Staging of Arts and Media at the University of Hildesheim. Her work focus lies on interdisciplinary festivals and dramaturgy. During her studies, she was part of the collective artistic direction of the State of the Art 11 Festival in Hildesheim as well as working in the artistic production department of Festival Theaterformen under the artistic direction of Martine Dennewald. She worked as a dramaturg as part of her collective helene.haut and for Lorenz Nolting’s production of “Biathlon der Sehnsucht (warten auf den snow)” which was invited to Körber Studio Junge Regie in 2021. Under the artistic direction of Barbara Frey, Nina Bade is an assistant dramaturg at the festival Ruhrtriennale as well as a dramaturg for the works of Mats Staub. Her interest lies in documentary and biographic storytelling and forms of collective historiographies.
