Beatriz Ferreyra

Beatriz Ferreyra was born in Cordoba, Argentina in 1937. She worked at the Groupe de Recherches Musicales (GRM) of the ORTF Research Department under Pierre Schaeffer (1963-70), where she collaborated on his Solfège de l'Objet Sonore disc. In 1975, she became a member of the Collège de Compositeurs de l’IMEB. She has won prizes in international experimental music competitions. She composes for shows, films, videos, documentaries, ballets and music therapy. She has also sat on juries for international experimental music competitions. Her work is published on various labels in France and other countries.
