Tegel Media is a series of enigmas: is this an independent PDF publisher that allows well-known authors to appear in unaccustomed formats or is it a brutalist design gag? The writers Jakob Nolte and Leif Randt, who are in charge of the platform’s content, use Saal 2 for this play on ideas and invite Tegel Media artists to present hitherto unpublished works.
Visitors to the internet platform tegelmedia.net have been able to look forward to a new publication on every first Saturday of the month since 2017. In formal terms, there appear to be no limits. With a restaurant test, radio show, and a scroll-through audio painting installation, its palette keeps growing and also includes items of merchandising such as a desktop background (on offer at 1 €). As part of "The Sun Machine Is Coming Down", Tegel Media will turn Saal 2 into a small but highly active phone screen. With cartoons, anecdotes, talks, and tutorials. In the four Tegel Media ICC Showcases of Helen Stefanie, Olufemi Atibioke, Robin Vehrs, and Hrefna Hörn Leifsdóttir, you can count on entertainment that will open up new perspectives.
