Music | Down to Earth
Throughout “Down to Earth”, the STEGREIF.orchester is constantly present in small formations and fills the space with melodies, improvisations and choreographic elements.
The STEGREIF.orchester is an improvising symphony orchestra of 30 international musicians who open new paths to classical music for themselves and their audience. Under the influence of different musical styles, the heritage of classical music becomes an impressive new interpretation of scenic and visual power. The STEGREIF.orchester explores new worlds of sound and tests diverse genre fusions. The ensemble always performs without notes, without conductor and without chairs. Throughout “Down to Earth”, the STEGREIF.orchester is constantly present in small formations and fills the space with melodies, improvisations and choreographic elements. The symbiosis of the human and the instrument, the intensity of the acoustic sound, the resonances of body and space as well as the relationship between memory and spontaneous inspiration invite reflection and interaction with the musicians.
