Talk with the audience: Thu 6 May, 23:00
Venue: Deutsches Theater

As every talk-show participant knows until the moment when the broadcast is over, the problem has not yet been resolved: there are those who believe the new citizen to be, above all, free – free of tax debts, innovative, creative, mobile, efficient and assertive. Others ponder, restrain and caution. The regulars of Christoph Marthaler’s and Anna Viebrock’s “Danton” bar have given these and similar problems a lot of thought – without, of course, having reached any results. Perhaps Marthaler is, after all, right in the face of all reform enthusiasts, and it is best to stay as long as possible with the last guests over a last glass of wine. Talking, singing and occasionally falling off the bar stool.
