Be My Guest

In the framework of the programme “Be my Guest”, this is the third year in which a curator of a different theatre festival has been invited to attend the Theatertreffen and to reflect on what they experience. At the end of the festival, the curator will invite one of the Theatertreffen’s selected productions to be presented at their own festival.

<h2>Theatre in global contexts</h2>

Barbara Burckhardt will discuss ways of international networking in the theatre with Itzik Giuli Giuli (Artistic Director of the Israel Festival Jerusalem), this year’s guest, and Mark Foster Ball (Artistic Director of the London International Festival of Theatre). Together they will enquire what it means to work internationally in the fields of artistic production and curatorship.
