The authors who are invited annually to Nahaufnahme are previous participants in the Treffen junger Autor*innen.
Every year we invite former participants of the Treffen junger Autor*innen for Nahaufnahme. The meeting has been honoring exceptional writing talents between the ages of 11 and 21 for over 30 years. A jury selects from a large number of applications. The participants often already show an awareness of the possibilities of the language and a willingness to experiment, which often leads to the young talents choosing writing as their professional perspective. They are working on their first major writing projects and publishing their texts in anthologies, magazines and on the Internet.
The chronicle of the meeting of young authors lists several writers whose texts and books have now been published by renowned publishers. The aim of Nahaufnahme is to support the young authors in their writing and on their way to a professional writing existence.
During Nahaufnahme, participants work with experienced authors on their own texts and exchange personal perspectives and experiences in the writing process.
