Yodfat Miron

Berlin-based violist Yodfat Miron was born into an Israeli Yemenite family of musicians. She studied the viola in Tel Aviv and Berlin and was a grant recipient of the America-Israel Foundation. Chaim Taub, Hartmut Rhode, Walter Küssner and Günther Pichler were among her teachers. Together with her Miron Quartet, which she founded in 2003, and other chamber music formations she is a regular guest at international festivals as well as renowned concert houses such as the Schubertiade Schwarzenberg (Austria). In addition, she performs in various ensembles, such as the Mendelssohn Players, the Berlin Chamber Soloists, the Kaleidoskop soloist ensemble and the Stuttgarter Kammerorchester.
