Synergy Vocals
The vocal ensemble Synergy Vocals was founded in 1996 around singer Micaela Haslam, then still with the Swingle Singers. Since then, the group has developed into a highly respected ensemble specialising in particular in the timbre and rhythmic challenges of Steve Reich’s music. The group has participated in performing and recording several of his works. The members of Synergy Vocals are all virtuoso vocal soloists and celebrated internationally for their unique ensemble sound. The ensemble has worked with composers such as Louis Andriessen und Christian Henson as well as with renowned ensembles and orchestras, among them Ensemble Modern, London Sinfonietta, the symphony orchestra of the Bayerischer Rundfunk and the New York Philharmonic Orchestra.
