Alexander Schwinghammer

Dr Alexander Schwinghammer is a teacher, researcher and administrator at Bauhaus Universität Weimar. There he is affiliated with the scientific disciplines of the Faculty of Art and Design. Together with Stefanie K. Menrath, Alexander Schwinghammer edited the anthology “What does a Chameleon Look Like?”, which attempts to create a cultural topography that includes both technical-digital and non-medial cultural phenomena of immersion. Recent research interests include the fields of visual culture, methods of artistic research, documentary media, the culture of presentation and food studies. He is currently working on a project on the imagination of the future of food.
