The picture shows a woman with shoulder-length brown hair that is partially dyed blonde. She is wearing a translucent, light-colored blouse over a yellow top. She poses with one hand on her head and leans against the edge of a washbasin or similar device. White tiles can be seen in the background. Above her hangs a container, possibly a soap dispenser or similar sanitary device. The overall impression is uncomplicated and natural.

Momo Bera

Momo Bera was born in 1994 and is a Berlin-based artist and poet working across several media. She studies visual arts at the Berlin University of the Arts in the class of Professor Valérie Favre. Momo mainly publishes in independent literature magazines and has participated in numerous exhibitions and readings. Furthermore, she is a member of the poetry collective ad hoc which hosts textOUR, a series of readings. Currently, she is interested in tapping further into the format of performative reading and explores the reassessment of transnational adoption history from a post-colonial perspective. Following Hélène Cixous, Momo sees her writing as an emancipatory act. Her painting professor calls her an emotional noodle, she likes that.
