After his successful adaptions of Fyodor M. Dostoevsky’s “The Brothers Karamazov” (Friedrich-Luft-Prize for the best production in Berlin or Potsdam in the year 2014) and David Foster Wallace “Infinite Jest” (invited to the 2019 Berlin Theatertreffen) for the stage, “Verrückt nach Trost” is Thorsten Lensing’s first own play written for the theatre – or rather written for the actors Sebastian Blomberg, André Jung, Ursina Lardi and Devid Striesow, with some of whom he has been working for 20 years.
