TIME BUSTERS

Theaterlabor Neuperlach – Münchner Kammerspiele, Munich

Four people stand on the stage in a green mist. Another person bows low in the centre of the stage. They are wearing blue robes. An orange glow can be seen in the middle of the fog.

Young people in the year 2433 discover a time capsule containing centuries-old records of a school class from the year 2023. The discoverers look back on stories of a violent past that they did not experience. An evening of theatre that questions our culture of remembrance and expands our understanding of history: how does collective memory work when the Nazi past is less and less interwoven with the family biographies of citizens?
